A couple of years ago, I was communicating with a very beautiful and talented model on Model Mayhem named MKBlondie (Manda Kay), who expressed her love of Marilyn Monroe and my Marilyn artwork. I sent her prints of both of my Marilyn Monroe illustrations, for which she was very grateful.
A couple of months ago I found out that Manda was named the July Penthouse Pet of the Month! I was very happy and proud of her, as being named a Penthouse Pet is a big deal.
I asked Manda for some promotional shots, and as luck would have it, she
said she was doing a Marilyn-themed shoot. She happily posed as
Marilyn Monroe holding my art, and, of course, her Penthouse centerfold. Pretty cool.
Since Penthouse publishes double issues, you can still get Manda's pictorial on newsstands right now, or order a subscription through my company. It's worth seeing, as Manda is very beautiful and sexy. Click through the links to see her and my artwork that she enjoys.

Sexy Nicole Art
Below is my latest drawing, a portrait of my friend (and fellow pinup artist), Nicole Brune.
Before turning to art full-time, Nicole was a successful swimsuit model
in California. I've been wanting to do art of Nicole for years, and
finally she has become a part of my Lunchtime Pinup series.
The reference photo below was taken by her now-husband. As you can see, Nicole has gorgeous curves and a fabulous smile.
See Nicole's art here. Please contact me here with comments or commission or print requests. Thank you.

Playboy's Heather Bauer Redux
Here's another piece of art that I recently updated, of Playboy CyberGirl and Special Editions model Heather Bauer.

I originally did this drawing in 2008, at Heather's request, based on an anonymous photographers photos. The shots were different than her Special Editions and Cyber Girl pictorials in Playboy, as they were artsy, boudoir and more sensual, with lots of shadows. When I originally did the art, I focused more on her figure, her mood, but did not shade anything i the background, like I usually do.
I concentrated mostly on shading the corners to close in the drawing, and darkening some spots on Heather's body. I also softened the shading around her butt; it was too liney, so I shaded it more, with softer edges, so it would be more sensual. I also reworked her left eye.
These are the after and before shots, of course. The reworked drawing will be reshot professionally very soon, and uploaded on my site and available for sale in prints, pillows and licensing then. What do you think? Contact me here with any comments or questions

Art created in Color Pencil |
The photo photo by Ralph Haseltine was changed quite a bit, as you can see. I also tried to create this artwork in the style of Gil Elvgren and Alberto Vargas. I'm very happy with this piece, and I hope you are too.
Please watch FLiP Magazine for details on the upcoming auction for this original. Also, you can buy a print right now, and ALL net proceeds will be donated as well. Click here to view it on my website.
